From the first plan to placement

We handle the spa.
And the work around it.

Buying a hot tub can mean more than finding a model you like. The Pool Store can handle your base, patio, electrical work and local permitting as part of one planned installation project.

01 / A practical foundation

Basic concrete

For a straightforward installation, we can build a concrete base sized for the selected hot tub and the way you will access it. We plan support, drainage and room to reach equipment panels before placement.

02 / A finished outdoor space

Stamped concrete

Extend the project beyond a plain pad with a stamped-concrete patio. Plan the finish, surrounding walking space and entry area together so the hot tub fits the backyard, rather than becoming an isolated addition.

03 / Patio design options

Paver patios

We can build a paver patio for your hot-tub area and work the spa into its layout. The support beneath the tub is designed around the selected model and site; decorative paving alone does not establish that an existing patio is suitable.

04 / Ready for the chosen model

Electrical work

We handle the electrical portion of the installation project. The selected model, existing electrical service and route to the spa determine the work. Electrical requirements are confirmed for that model before the installation is scheduled.

05 / Local requirements

Permitting

We handle local permitting for the agreed installation scope. The property location, spa and planned site work determine which approvals and inspections are required. The schedule accounts for the locality’s review and inspection process.

06 / Getting it into position

Delivery & placement

We review the route from unloading to the final location, including gates, tight turns, slopes and overhead obstacles. Any special access or equipment needs are identified in the project scope before delivery.

A quote for your actual project

Your proposal identifies the spa, base or patio work, electrical work, permitting, delivery, placement and selected accessories being included. Pricing depends on the model, site conditions and agreed work. If you already have a suitable base or completed work, tell us what is in place so we can plan around it.

Choose around the people using it

Comfort is more specific than a seat count.

Open seating or a lounger?

Open seating leaves more ways to sit together and move between positions. A lounger provides a place to stretch out, but its length, contour and depth need to suit the person who will use it. Compare regular users first, then occasional guests.

Depth, entry & everyday access

Compare seat depths, footwell room, entry steps and the path from the house. Leave room to move the cover and reach service panels. A model that fits the measured rectangle may still need more space to use and maintain comfortably.

The details in your quote

Review the exact model, cover, steps, cover-lifting equipment and startup supplies with the installation scope. We can help with water testing, chemicals and filters after delivery; ongoing maintenance can be discussed separately.

Hot-tub water chemistry

A care routine
for your spa.

Plan water care along with the hot tub. Your sanitizer system, spa model, current readings and use determine the routine; swimming-pool products and targets do not automatically transfer.

Test the right things

Use testing appropriate to your chlorine or bromine system. Review pH, alkalinity and calcium hardness as part of the water-balance picture for your spa.

Keep up between visits

Home testing, filtration, filter cleaning and model-specific water replacement remain part of ownership. Store testing adds support to that routine.

Bring your sample to Gloucester

We test hot-tub water in our shop. Bring a fresh sample, the spa model, approximate water volume and names of the products you use so we can discuss your question in context.

A little clarity

Hot tub & swim spa project questions.

Can I get pricing without choosing a model first?

Yes. Your regular user count, seating preferences, available space, and priorities are enough to begin narrowing current options. The selected model and project scope determine the quote.

Can a hot tub go on my deck?

That depends on the structure and loaded weight of the selected hot tub. Have a qualified professional confirm the support requirements before installation.

Do the photographs show what is in stock?

They show our past work. Models, configurations, and availability change, so contact the store for current options.

Can you help with hot tub care?

The store can help with supplies and water-testing questions. For maintenance, provide your spa make, location, and the care you want so the office can confirm available arrangements.

Can you handle the concrete, patio and electrical work?

Yes. The Pool Store can handle basic concrete, stamped concrete or paver patio work, electrical work, delivery and placement. We design the supporting base around the selected hot tub or swim spa and the site. The written proposal identifies the work included.

Do I need to arrange local permits myself?

We handle local permitting for the agreed installation project. Requirements depend on the property, selected spa and planned work. Local review and inspection schedules help determine project timing.

Should I choose a hot tub or a swim spa?

Choose a hot tub when the main priority is seated soaking and massage. Compare a swim spa when you also want a dedicated area for swimming against a current or water exercise. Garden Leisure swim-spa layouts vary in length, activity space and seating, so we start with how you want to use it.

Can a swim spa sit on my existing patio?

Only if the foundation meets the selected model’s requirements and the site is suitable. Surface appearance alone does not establish load-bearing capacity. We review the supporting base, drainage, electrical work, access and applicable local requirements before defining the installation.

What affects the total project price?

The spa and selected options, foundation and patio size, site conditions, electrical work, permitting requirements, delivery access and agreed accessories all affect the quote. Tell us what you already have in place so the estimate reflects the work your property actually needs.
