From a completed service report
A pool closing involves the lines, filter and equipment as well as the pool itself. Here’s what our technician recorded during one completed closing, with the customer’s details removed.
Plan my pool closing →Winterizing chemicals were added. The ladder was removed and stored, and the plumbing lines were blown out and capped.
The DE filter grids were removed, cleaned and reinstalled. The equipment was winterized, and the pump power was switched off at the equipment.
The technician noted a leak on the pump’s discharge side at a previous repair location. The report flagged it for attention at the next opening.
The report gives the customer a record of the closing work and the pump concern to discuss before spring. It also lists the products used during the visit.
